SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan’s Special Projects Department visited the Cleanergy Center last June 7, 2014. According to center staff, it was their first time to host members of the legal community.
Located in the compound of the Mak-Ban Geothermal Power Plant in Bay, Laguna, the Cleanergy Center is the first educational facility dedicated to energy education. The tour included a presentation of the regulatory framework for renewable energy, a tour inside the working power plant, an annotated visit to the display of equipment used in power plants, and other interactive exhibits.
The Cleanergy Cener is operated by AP Renewables, Inc., a subsidiary of Aboitiz Power.
