SyCipLaw EID Hosts Joint Seminar with Mori Hamada & Matsumoto

SyCipLaw’s Employment & Immigration Department (EID) hosted a Joint Seminar on Labor & Immigration for Japanese Companies with Mori Hamada & Matsumoto (MHM) last July 31, 2015 at the 17th Flr. of the SyCipLaw Center. The session was designed to focus on updates and issues of interest to Japanese companies conducting business in the Philippines. A total of 65 participants from over 50 companies attended the session.

SyCipLaw Managing Partner Rafael A. Morales and MHM Partner Shin Kikuchi opened the lecture. MHM Partner Hideaki Umetsu, with Associate Mikio Sonoda, discussed practical points of Philippine law. SyCipLaw Partners Dante T. Pamintuan and Rodelle B. Bolante shared recent labor and immigration trends and developments in the Philippines. The closing remarks was given by MHM Partner Tomohiro Tsuchiya.

The Joint Seminar on Labor & Immigration with MHM is part of SyCipLaw’s Kapihan series, sessions for experts and stakeholders to discuss the most recent legal issues and developments, in line with the firm’s SyCipLaw’s 70th year anniversary.
