Mark Kevin U. Dellosa is a senior associate of SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan. His practice areas include employment, immigration and corporate services.
Employment Practice
Mr. Dellosa specializes in employment and immigration law. He advises clients on labor issues, including but not limited to compliance with general labor standards and occupational safety and health standards, transfer and dismissal of employees, personnel movement in case of global or local mergers and acquisitions, validity of contracting and subcontracting arrangements, conduct of certification election, strikes, lockouts, and collective bargaining negotiations. He has substantial experience in drafting and reviewing employment contracts, company policies, employee handbook, retirement plans, quitclaims, service agreements and other labor-related contracts.
Mr. Dellosa also has substantial experience in preparing pleadings and representing clients in cases before the National Labor Relations Commission, the Department of Labor and Employment, the National Conciliation and Mediation Board, and the Philippine courts. He likewise assists clients in hearings before the Bureau of Immigration for application or renewal of work visas.
He serves labor clients from various industries, such as banking, manufacturing, education, business process outsourcing, insurance, warehousing and logistics, trucking, shipping and transportation sectors.
Corporate Services
Mr. Dellosa has sufficient experience in setting up companies in the Philippines, implementing corporate restructuring, conducting legal due diligence, and corporate housekeeping. He has been part of corporate projects in the pharmaceutical, solar power, food, clothing and transportation industries.
Mr. Dellosa presently acts as Assistant Corporate Secretary for some corporate clients, including a foundation.
