Kevin Joseph C. Berbaño

Kevin Joseph C. Berbaño is a member of the Firm’s Employment and Immigration, Tax, and Corporate Services Department. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, having passed the CPA Board Examinations in August 2014.

Joseph (or Joey) has advised clients on a broad range of employment-related matters such as labor standards compliance, legitimate job contracting, employment relations and disciplinary proceedings, transfer and dismissal of employees, and collective bargaining. Joey also has extensive experience in labor litigation, and has handled several cases in various tribunals from the National Labor Relations Commission up to the Supreme Court.

As part of the Firm’s Tax Department, Joey regularly advises clients on tax-related matters, such as tax implications of corporate acquisitions and other corporate transactions. Joey also represents clients in tax assessment cases before the Bureau of Internal Revenue and the Court of Tax Appeals.
