Jose Lorenzo C. Dave

Jose Lorenzo C. Dave is a member of the Firm’s Litigation department.

Prior to joining the Firm, Jolo served as an associate at a full-service law firm in Makati, where he gained experience in providing general corporate services and housekeeping of various companies, handling civil and criminal cases before Philippine courts and quasi-judicial bodies, and conducting due diligence involving corporate acquisitions. Jolo’s representative matters:

• Assisted and advised the first fully foreign-owned corporation to engage in domestic shipping in the Philippines;
• Seconded to a leading tobacco company in the Philippines, where he reviewed commercial contracts, advised on employment matters, and provided legal support to various business units within the company; and
• Part of the corporate secretarial team of a public company engaged in beverage manufacturing and distribution, where he helped ensure timely regulatory filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission and adherence to corporate governance standards.

He maintains an active practice in representing clients in civil and criminal proceedings before Philippine courts and quasi-judicial bodies.

Jolo is also a Certified Public Accountant.
