Joanna Marie P. Reyes

Joanna Marie P. Reyes is a member of the Firm’s Tax, Litigation, and Special Projects departments.

Joanna is also a Certified Public Accountant. Her primary focus areas include Tax, Litigation, and Special Projects. As a tax and corporate law specialist, Joanna has extensive experience in handling tax assessments and claims for refund with administrative bodies such as the Philippine Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and local government units. She represents clients in tax litigation before the Regional Trial Court (RTC), Court of Tax Appeals (CTA), and Supreme Court (SC). She has also worked on PEZA registrations, request for rulings, tax treaty relief applications, and various corporate services.

Joanna was also part of the team who successfully represented major clients in landmark tax cases before the SC and CTA, resulting in the reversal of a tax deficiency ruling.
