Spencer M. Albos is an associate of the Firm and a member of the firm's Special Projects, Corporate Services, Employment and Immigration, and Litigation practice groups.

Mr. Albos's work experience covers a broad and diverse range of matters, including the following: real estate, data privacy, virtual assets, money claims, financial crimes, cybercrimes, contracts, customs, construction, and rehabilitation and liquidation. He also advises clients on corporate employment matters, including employment contracts, company policies and handbooks, management prerogatives, labor and industrial relations, labor standards, labor compliance, secondment and assignment, collective bargaining, retirement, and employment termination. He has represented clients in various civil, commercial, criminal, administrative, labor, and tax proceedings and appeared in the Office of the City Prosecutor, Department of Justice, trial courts, appellate courts, and quasi-judicial bodies, including the Labor Arbiters, National Labor Relations Commission, Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, and Bureau of Internal Revenue. Mr. Albos has also handled several corporate services retainer accounts involving multinational and local clients in various industries, and he reviews various kinds of agreements and transactional documents. He has also conducted various due diligence works for various clients and transactions and has transacted with other government agencies to assist clients in complying with regulatory and reportorial requirements.

Mr. Albos's notable recent projects include successfully assisting an international religious institution in repossessing a multi-million real property and protecting other highly valuable real properties; successfully defending an international transportation company in several unlawful dismissal claims; successfully defending a global telecommunications service provider from real property tax assessments of a local government unit; representing various international and local clients in rehabilitation and liquidation proceedings in various courts throughout the country; prosecuting financial crimes committed by former employees of several multinational companies; acting as counsel for an international logistics company based in the Philippines in the ad hoc arbitration proceedings under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules relating to damage caused by the Taal Volcano eruption ash fall; advising a multinational information technology company on license application requirements of the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board; and assisting a leading multinational digital technology company in obtaining an import license from the Bureau of Customs.

In 2021, the Firm awarded Mr. Albos the citation of Pro Bono Champion 2020 for Senior Associate/Associate Category.

Aside from being a lawyer, Mr. Albos is also a licensed professional teacher. He is also a faculty member of the University of the Philippines - College of Law.

He is a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the oldest, most respected, and most selective all-disciplines honor society worldwide.
