Joseph R. Malcontento
Joseph R. Malcontento is with the Firm's Litigation and Employment and Immigration departments.
Mr. Malcontento regularly assists in the preparation of affidavits, pleadings, motions, and other submissions in civil, criminal, and administrative proceedings before the Court of Appeals, Regional and Municipal Trial Courts, Department of Justice, and other various government agencies.
Mr. Malcontento regularly appears before conciliation-mediation proceedings before the Field Offices of the Department of Labor and Employment. He also assists in: advising clients on a broad array of labor and employment issues, such as compliance with labor standards, termination of employees, legitimate contracting arrangements, and occupational safety and health standards; conducting labor due diligence on domestic corporations and local affiliates, subsidiaries, and representative offices of foreign corporations; and reviewing employment-related documents, such as employment contracts, consultancy agreements, employee handbooks, mandatory workplace policies, contracting arrangements, and quitclaims.
