The edition of Conventus Law: M&A Philippines Campaign 2019 has been published which takes an in-depth review into the increased M&A activity in the Philippines due to the government’s infrastructure investment initiatives.
The article discussed the changes Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) made in the past years to streamline the reviewing and approval of deals. Due to inflation, Philippines’ inbound deal values plummeted in 2017 and 2018, but the country M&A prospects remain strong with improved regulatory procedures and robust economy.
