Gilda Patrizia A. Veluya
Gilda Patrizia A. Veluya is a member of the Firm's Litigation Employment and Immigration, and Corporate Services departments. Her practice deals with various fields of mergers and acquisitions, employment, corporate services, and litigation cases.
Ms. Veluya has significant experience in civil, commercial, and criminal litigation and has been involved in cases before the trial courts, Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court, the Department of Justice, and prosecutors' offices. Ms. Veluya was also involved in a commercial arbitration before the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).
As a member of the Employment and Immigration Department, Ms. Veluya has provided advice and assistance to local and international clients on various employment-related issues, such as labor standards compliance, restructuring and reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, employment contracts, policies and handbooks, data privacy, industrial relations, administrative disciplinary proceedings, and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Commission, Bureau of Labor Relations, National Conciliation and Mediation Board, labor arbiters, accredited voluntary arbitrators, and other labor agencies. She has also assisted in various immigration matters such as processing for entry and exit permits, addressing immigration queries of clients, and processing of the visas and work permits of employees and officers of clients.
Ms. Veluya also handles general corporate work and acts as assistant corporate secretary for several corporations, advising clients on general regulatory requirements and assisting on various corporate transactions.
